People's Choice

Very recently I received the People's Choice Award for one of the two paintings I had at the Meeker International Art Competition. Since this particular competiton focuses on art depicting herding dogs and sheep - and I am quite passionate about painting animals - I must say that it was especially gratifying to receive this honor from the viewers of my art at a venue where they love and respect animals as much as I do. Every award is precious, exciting and wonderful to receive, but one bestowed on your work from those that know the subject so well really offers a certain level of gratification to you as an artist.
